Gypsy Girl in a Van

I have always wanted to do this. I had planned to go to Paris this spring but I am helping with my grandkids till my daughter goes to boot camp this summer. So when she gets through with her boot camp and training I plan to go on the road. I will buy a van and convert it. I will live in this van for a year traveling from place to place. I plan to take my business with me and not only sell on line but at shows too. I'll soon be 56 with my children grown and no one I need to take care of besides me, I think it is time to live the gypsy life I have always dreamed of. I will keep you posted on the steps I'm taking and how it turns out. I don't plan on leaving until 2/2010, so I have plenty of time.

Gypsy Vans

Unless you come of the gipsy stock
That steals by night and day,
Lock your heart with a double lock
And throw the key away.
Bury it under the blackest stone

Should walk as the Romany do.
Unless you come of the gipsy race
That counts all time the same,
Be you careful of Time and Place
And Judgment and Good Name:
Lose your life for to live your life
The way that you ought to do;
And when you are finished, your God and your wife
And the Gipsies'll laugh at you!
Then you can rot in your burying place
As the gipsy vans come through...

Once Upon A Time -- One of my great loves is storytelling. We have traced our family through Scotland, Ireland, to the Appalachian Mountains and with 6 generations still living, there are no lack of tales to be told. Mentorship -- the importance and how to set up a mentor-ship program. I have been a mentor in Toastmasters for years and in other situations in the workplace.

Mental Flexibility -- How to change the way you react and think about what goes on around you.

I am from Krypton, Kentucky. No, it isn't where Superman is from, but there are a lot of super people who live there. Krypton is a short side trip between Hazard and Buckhorn in the Southeastern mountains of Kentucky. Coal mining is the main industry here.
