The Dulcimer --- Shall I Play For You?

As you can see from my picture, I am holding a dulcimer. The dulcimer is a fairly primitive instrument, usually handmade by the owner. The one I have was handmade by a friend of mine. He was married to the first friend I made when I moved away from Eastern Kentucky in 1978. Greg was tone deaf, but he was able to make the instrument and tune it to the instructions of the dulcimer kit. Greg passed away a few years ago from cancer due to asbestos from working in the shipyard. That makes this dulcimer very special. I can play a few tunes, but mainly use it as a prop for storytelling.
